Panic Button 3.0 beta 1 released!

This is the first beta release of Panic Button 3, intended for early adopters who crave the latest and greatest.  Users not comfortable trying out pre-release software and tolerating its inevitable bugs should stick with Panic Button 2.0.4 for now.

Panic Button 3 is the next major release of the fun and handy panic extension for Firefox, with a few enhancements to help keep your dodgy web surfing from prying eyes.

What's New in 3.0 beta 1
  • You can set a password for restoring the browser session; this is available for the "Hide all windows" and "Hide and replace" actions
  • A tooltip for the Panic Button toolbar button can be enabled; if turned on, this will use the same text as the Panic Button caption
  • Reverse contrast toolbar button icons when a dark-colored theme is in use

How to Get It

Head over to the Panic Button page on the Mozilla Add-ons website.  Scroll down the page and expand  Development Channel.  Click on the yellow "Add to Firefox" button to install.
