There is an issue discovered with Clippings 6.2.5 which affects users who have updated from a previous release.
You may be affected if you experience any of these symptoms:
- When pressing the shortcut key prefix keys (default keys ALT+SHIFT+Y or Cmd+Shift+Y), the keyboard paste dialog doesn't appear.
- Line breaks in a clipping aren't intact when pasting into a rich text (HTML) editor, such as those found in the message editors in Gmail, Outlook.com and Yahoo! Mail.
- When saving a backup from Clippings Manager, the date isn't included in the backup file name, even though the option to "Add date to backup file name" is turned on in extension preferences.
To fix these issues, downgrade Clippings to version 6.2.4, available from the AE Creations website. You don't need to uninstall Clippings 6.2.5 first; just install version 6.2.4 over your updated installation. After reinstalling the previous version, restart Firefox.
Version 6.2.5 has been removed from availability. More information will be posted here once a new update with a fix is available.
