Sync Clippings Helper is the companion app for the Clippings extension for Firefox and Thunderbird that quietly synchronizes your clippings between computers or multiple instances of those applications. Sync Clippings Helper for Organizations is aimed at Windows system administrators who want to deploy Sync Clippings Helper in IT-managed environments such as businesses, schools, libraries and other large organizations.
Sync Clippings Helper for Organizations is based on the recent release of Sync Clippings Helper 2.0.1, and comes with these extra features:
- Available as an MSI package for easy deployment.
- The sync file location setting is stored in the user's roaming profile folder, so the setting follows them when they use Clippings in Firefox and Thunderbird on different PCs belonging to the same Windows domain.
How to Get It
Go to the Sync Clippings Helper for Organizations page for download links and installation instructions.
On Windows, the Windows Defender SmartScreen dialog may appear when launching the setup program. Rest assured that it's perfectly safe to proceed with the installation. To allow the setup program to run, click More Info, then Run Anyway.
Open Source Maintenance Fee
Use of Sync Clippings Helper for Organizations requires an Open Source Maintenance Fee. While the source code is freely available under the terms of the Mozilla Public License, downloading releases and opening issues require adherence to the Maintenance Fee.
